My Fitness and Weight Loss Journey in Korea
Living in Korea as a plus size woman was the push I didn’t know I needed.
Beauty standards here are very different, slim figures, petite frames, and polished appearances are the norm. Clothes are made in limited sizes, and conversations around weight are far more open than I was used to. At first, it felt intimidating, and honestly, a bit isolating. 👀
But instead of letting it break me, I let it fuel me. I realized I didn’t want to change who I was to fit in. I wanted to become the best version of myself, on my own terms.
I also thought about my kids, my husband, and my family.
I want to be strong and healthy so I can live a long life, one where I can watch my children grow up, be present for my family, and make memories without feeling held back by my health. ****
My journey isn’t just about weight loss, it’s about creating a future filled with energy, confidence, and love.
🌟Experimenting with Unsustainable diets
I started lifting weights, doing cardio, and trying out different workouts that helped me build strength and confidence. At one point, I experimented with extreme diets out of curiosity, including some of the well-known K-pop idol meal plans. 🥗
Let me just say, they are not sustainable. What has truly worked for me is consistency, balance, and finding joy in movement.
Breaking barriers and visiting a Korean clinic
One thing I love about Korea is how accessible and affordable beauty and wellness treatments are.
In Korea, many of these services are reasonably priced and widely available, making self-care much more accessible.
I believe in treating myself, so I visit weight loss clinics for non-invasive treatments, go to spas for relaxation, and explore skincare clinics to keep my skin healthy.
🌟Breaking Barriers Through My Experience
As part of the military community in Korea, I know that many people hesitate to explore local beauty and wellness treatments. There is often fear of language barriers or uncertainty about how things work.
Through my experiences, I help bridge that gap by showing what is available, how to book appointments, and what to expect.
As a content creator, I use my platform to share my journey with fitness, weight loss, and self-care. I do not just focus on losing weight. I focus on feeling good and helping others do the same. My goal is to inspire people to take care of themselves for their own well-being, not because of societal pressure.
Through my videos, I showcase workouts, review beauty treatments, and give insights into life in Korea as a plus-size woman. I remind my audience that self-improvement should come from a place of self-love, not self-hate.
Beauty is not about fitting into a certain size. It is about confidence, health, and happiness.♥️
🌟ENDiet: Personalized and Sustainable Approach to Weight Loss
I met ENDiet Clinic, and my experience at there was truly transformative.
From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their professionalism and the comprehensive approach they take toward weight management.
One of the standout aspects was the initial assessment. Before making any recommendations, the clinic conducted a detailed evaluation using advanced diagnostic machines. These tests provided insight into my body composition, metabolic rate, and overall health, which helped the doctor create a plan tailored specifically to my needs.
Communication was seamless. The doctor spoke English very well, and although some of the initial staff didn’t speak much English, they used translation systems to make sure I understood everything clearly. As someone navigating healthcare in a non-native language, this gave me a lot of peace of mind. The entire staff was incredibly patient explaining every step, answering my questions, and making sure I felt comfortable and informed.
During the program, I learned the value of a personalized and sustainable approach to weight loss.
The clinic doesn’t promote shortcuts or crash diets. Instead, they emphasize long-term lifestyle changes, such as balanced eating habits, regular exercise, and mental wellness.
This helped me shift my mindset, not just focusing on the number on the scale, but on building a healthier, more respectful relationship with my body and food.
Overall, the ENDiet Clinic gave me the tools, education, and support I needed to succeed, all within a caring and supportive environment. I’m genuinely grateful for the experience.

Through this journey, I learned that health isn’t about fitting into a mold.
It’s about feeling good, being strong, and showing up for yourself daily. I began creating content to reflect that, sharing the highs, the struggles, and everything in between to help others see that self-love and self-care are what truly matter.
My motivation was never about shrinking myself to fit in. It was about expanding into the woman I was always meant to be.🌟🫂
